MINNEAPOLIS — Throughout a mistake-riddled performance Sunday, the Lynx just didn’t look like their usual selves in Game 1 of the WNBA Finals. The cure, guard Lindsay Whalen declared, was not complicated. “I’ve been in a lot of finals,” the 12-year veteran said. “There are going to be ups and downs. Our job (Tuesday) is to be ourselves.” To the great relief of the Target Center crowd, the Lynx reverted to the team they know and love with a 79-60 victory over Los Angeles in Game 2.
